Melodies of D.C.

The Washington International Young Artists Music Series (WIYAMS), organized by The International Art Development and Promotion Association (IADPA), creates a global platform for exceptional young musicians. WIYAMS aims to foster connections between audiences and artists, revitalize classical music through innovation, and provide broader performance opportunities.

Since October 2013, WIYAMS has delivered captivating performances at prestigious venues including the Catholic University of America, the Embassy of Bulgaria in the United States, and Georgetown University. In January 2024, WIYAMS welcomed talented young artists from 12 renowned U.S. universities, including Yale University, The Juilliard School, The Catholic University of America, and Johns Hopkins University. On September 29, 2024, WIYAMS returns to the Ward Recital Hall at Catholic University of America, collaborating with young artists from three different universities to present our latest production, "Melodies of D.C."
